preparing for the next steps

Medina Christian Academy’s high school offers a challenging, biblically-based academic program to prepare students for the real world and collegiate studies. Setting MCA’s education apart is the individualized instruction and attention students receive from the teachers. The curriculum at our private Christian high school includes options for courses that best fit each student’s strengths, including a variety of honors, Advanced Placement, and College Credit Plus courses in mathematics, English, science, and social studies to allow students the opportunity to develop both life and college-level skills while receiving individualized support from MCA teachers.

preparing students for continued growth

life beyond high school

Each high school course encourages students to develop critical thinking skills, precise speech, and assiduous reading by using various pedagogical approaches, including Socratic seminars, debate, hands-on projects, and STEM integration. Teachers integrate biblical perspectives into all courses, and students are provided with an understanding of Christ throughout all subject areas. In addition, a school partnership with Cedarville University empowers students to earn college credit on Medina Christian Academy’s campus as well as experience collegiate expectations and study strategies.

growing together

A myriad of service and ministry opportunities, athletic programs, co-curricular activities, and fine arts offerings contribute to MCA’s distinct program. Extracurricular activities allow high school students to become more involved in the MCA community. A variety of sports, drama, academic, and musical clubs and teams allow all students a chance to enhance their God-given talents and foster important qualities of teamwork and perseverance. Students at Medina Christian Academy learn that service is an integral part of living as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Being a part of the community

Every student will participate in a variety of mission and service projects both in the Medina community and globally, affording them the opportunities to experience the world beyond the school walls and themselves, developing a clearer understanding of the needs and cultures of others. Students will be involved in spiritual retreats and mission opportunities to solidify relationships, community connections, servant leadership, and most importantly, students’ relationship with Christ.
