The crucial task for a middle school student is to become an independent learner and thinker, while rooted in a biblical worldview. Middle school students need study habits developed at a young age, and while Medina Christian Academy’s middle school requires more autonomy, the teachers focus on routine and accountability to develop effective habits of study. MCA assists students with the transition to middle school by instructing them through the importance of freedom and responsibility. Teachers help to shape students into the person God has intended them to be by helping them understand the motivation behind their choices and the habits of their hearts. Teachers integrate all studies with biblical perspectives, and students are provided with an understanding of Christ throughout all subject areas.
