Bringing Faith into the Classroom

at Medina Christian Academy

Love God. Love Learning. Love Others.

We believe one encounter with God can change everything – and some of our richest encounters happen through worship. Our continued goal is to provide our students with the opportunities to develop academically, socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our primary goal for all grade levels is to grow into a deeper understanding of what it means to live as a child of God.

How We Incorporate

Faith into MCA Classrooms

Early Education

Starting with early education, we incorporate God’s word into the classroom through Bible truths. Students learn weekly memory verses to reinforce the important truths and to help us emphasize God’s love. It’s a solid foundation in faith that carries them through the rest of their educational career at MCA.

Elementary School

As students move throughout the curriculum at Medina Christian Academy, they get to explore aspects of their faith more deeply. Our elementary curriculum allows students to participate in service projects that encourage them to help serve others within the community. These age-appropriate activities allow students to share Christ’s love with others by giving of themselves.

Middle School

As students slowly start to prepare for high school, it’s vital for them to start reaching their true potential in Jesus Christ. Our faculty works with students to live each day faithfully and to walk with God, listening to his call for their lives.

High School

It is not our goal to insulate children from the real world. When students enter high school, it becomes our mission to prepare students to be strong in Christ through adversity and to act as stewards upon graduation. From the fine arts programs we offer to our Christian athletics, we strive to encourage each student to reach their true potential through Jesus Christ.

Walk in Faith

It will always be our mission to incorporate the fundamental Word of God into our curriculum. Our vision is to support students and help them walk strongly with God, with their fellow man and with their faith as a true guiding light.

“For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding,” (Proverbs 2:6).

We encourage you to learn more about our faith mission by reading our statement of faith.
