Helping Students Find Their

Passion Through Participation

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (Proverbs 2:6).

At MCA, we are student-centric. We are committed to helping each one of our students excel academically, artistically, and athletically. Through a variety of initiatives, extracurricular activities, and academic clubs, we help students reach their full potential.

Extracurricular and Co-Curricular Activities

Alongside our athletic teams, we also offer a variety of unique extracurricular activities to engage all of our students. Students can participate in Chess Club, Ski Club, Student Council, and more. The goal of all of our extracurricular activities is to provide an outlet that affords students an opportunity to express themselves outside the traditional classroom setting, while further discovering the inherent gifts that they were given from God.

Students can also participate in enriching ACSI co-curricular activities designed to enhance what they are learning inside the classroom. These activities include creative writing, speech meet, and math competitions.

STEM Education

STEM = (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) – Multi-disciplinary learning

  • Problem based learning (Building challenges, Chain reaction activities, Developing code for robotics)
  • Challenges students to think critically (How can they solve problems presented in STEM)
  • Develops collaboration/communication skills among students (Robotics groups, STEM challenge groups)
  • Builds technology proficiency (LEGO robotics, STEM robots, Coding, Typing, Computer proficiency)
  • Introduction to science concepts (Life Science, Physical Science, and Chemistry)

1:1 Chromebook Initiative

The faculty at MCA is proud to use state of the art instructional strategies to teach students from a Biblical worldview. This approach includes empowering our students to use technology in the learning process.. Medina Christian is a 1:1 Chromebook campus and each student can easily access assignments and curriculum online. We also equip our classrooms with SMARTboard technology.

Retreats and Trips

In order to help students understand more deeply and whole-heartedly embrace their role as servants in God’s world, we encourage students at every grade level to participate in retreats, mission activities, and service opportunities. These special offerings allow students to deepen their connections with one another, the community around them, and their relationship with God.

We encourage you to learn more about our school by reading about who we are.
